I'm especially proud of how I've been able to train two new team members to work independently while also becoming the go-to person engineers rely on for their data issues. Knowing that I'm both growing the team's capabilities and solving problems that prevent customer churn makes the work feel deeply meaningful.

Who Are We & What Do We Do?

The Investor Data team’s mission is to build and run must-have products that answer our investor clients’ key questions in an accurate, timely, and granular manner. In short, the Investor Data team sources, cleans, and analyzes the best datasets to help our clients make informed investment decisions. We work closely with the Research and Revenue teams to solicit feedback on our products, build new ones, and ensure that our clients have access to best-in-class insights and analysis. We also work closely with the Engineering team to apply technical best practices and tools to maximize our efficiency. We also collaborate with the Corporate team to leverage our data insights for Corporate clients.

We strive for the data we provide to clients to be accurate, complete, and free of errors. We perform thorough quality assurance checks, aim to quantify all risks to accuracy, and adjust for even the most difficult data challenges.

Efficiency

We choose wisely when determining which projects to prioritize, and then we work efficiently on these projects by implementing smart processes and automation.

Transparency

We hold ourselves accountable for mistakes and failures and view these as opportunities to improve. We figure out what went wrong, make a plan to avoid the mistake in the future, and don’t make the same mistake twice. We are also transparent with our clients about risks to our data, methodologies, and estimates whenever possible to ensure we are trusted partners.
