Arhaus leads home goods pure players in 3Q22 GMV growth

In YipitData’s 3Q22 Home Goods Index: Pure Players, Arhaus had the largest YoY GMV growth amid top retailers at 60% in the third quarter. The retailer’s sales have grown across the past 15 months, with September 2022 being the retailer’s strongest sales month this year.

Older customers account for much of Arhaus’ success. Millennials used to drive a third of Arhaus’ sales, but now only account for a fifth of sales in 3Q22. Consumers aged 55+, meanwhile, have grown in their share of sales.

Arhaus has also seen success via loyal customers. Among Arhaus costumers, 57% of wallet share goes to Arhaus. Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, Wayfair, and West Elm, meanwhile, all have less than 20% of Arhaus consumers' wallets.
