Information We Collect Through Automated Means

We automatically collect certain information about the computer or devices you use to access the Services. For example, we may collect and analyze information, such as your device's IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. We also collect certain information about the ways that you use and interact with the Services.

• For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of any contract with us through the Services, including completion of transactions.

• To communicate with you: To contact you by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, regarding updates, marketing or promotional opportunities, to obtain feedback, or to provide informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including changes to our Services and security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.

●      With your consent: We may disclose your information for any other purpose with your consent.

Retention of Your Information

We retain information for different periods of time depending on the purposes for which we collect and use it, as described in this Privacy Notice. In determining how long to retain information, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the information, the purposes for which we process the information, applicable legal requirements, and our legitimate interests.  The purposes for which we process information (as well as the other factors listed above) may dictate different retention periods for the same types of information.  For example, if you opt out of email marketing, we maintain your email on our suppression list for an extended time to comply with your request.

We may delete or de-identify your information sooner if we receive a verifiable deletion request, subject to exemptions under applicable law, or when it is no longer needed to fulfill these purposes unless a longer retention period is required to comply with applicable laws. There may be technical or other operational reasons where we are unable to fully delete or de-identify your information. Where this is the case, we will take reasonable measures to prevent further processing your information.

Security of Your information

We implement a variety of security safeguards designed to protect your information and the security of your information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so there is no guarantee that such data may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed in connection with a breach of our physical, technical, organizational, or managerial safeguards.

The service providers we use may have access to your personal information. These vendors collect, store, use, process and transfer information about your activity on our Services in accordance with their posted privacy policies and similar notices and information.

When you create an account, you may be prompted to create a username and password. If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for any activity that occurs under your account. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your password. We may use vendors to monitor and analyze the use of our Services.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Services. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Services available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

Certain personal information may be exempt from such requests under applicable law. We need certain types of personal information so that we can provide the Services to you. If you ask us to delete it, you may no longer be able to access or use the Services. Right to Opt Out of Sales of Personal Information and Processing of Personal Information for Targeted Advertising Purposes. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have the right to opt out of “sales” of your information and “processing of your information for targeted advertising purposes.”

As explained in “Disclosure of Information” above, we sometimes disclose information to third-party partners that help us market our products and services to you across platforms. This disclosure of information may be considered a “sale” or “processing of your personal information for targeted advertising purposes” under applicable laws.

Please note that if you have a legally-recognized browser-based opt out preference signal turned on via your device browser, we recognize such preference in accordance with applicable law.

International Users

Please note that Yipit is located in the United States and provides the Services, and processes your data, in the United States. In addition, Yipit may subcontract the processing of your data to, or otherwise disclose your data to, service providers and trusted business partners in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, in accordance with applicable law. Such third parties may be engaged in, among other things, the provision of our Services to you, the processing of transactions, and/or the provision of support services. By providing us with your information, you acknowledge any such transfer, storage, or use.

Information  for  California  Residents

Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Californian’s Personal Information

This section for California residents supplements the information contained elsewhere in our Privacy Notice and it applies solely to all Visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California. We have described in the relevant sections above the personal information that we collect, from whom, and with whom we disclose it and for what purposes. During the 12 months leading up to the effective date of this Privacy Notice, we collected (and continue to collect) all of the categories of information described in the “Information We Collect” section of our Privacy Notice, including identifiers (such as name, address, email address, phone number, and other contact information); professional or employment related information (such as your position and title, and employer’s name, size, location, and needs); account information; internet or other network or device activity; and other information that identifies or can be reasonably associated with you. In the past 12 months leading up to the effective date of this Notice, we have also “sold” or “shared” for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes the following categories of personal information: online identifiers and internet or other network or device activity. The categories of third parties to which we sold or shared this information are advertising and marketing partners and vendors that support such efforts (such as advertising measurement providers), as explained in the “Disclosure of Information” section of the Privacy Notice.

If we decide to collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes we will update this Privacy Notice.

Your Rights under the CCPA

Information rights. The CCPA provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. Specifically, unless certain exceptions apply, the CCPA allows you to request us to:

●      Inform you about the categories of personal information we collect or disclose about you; the categories of sources of such information; the business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information; and the categories of third parties with whom we share/disclose personal information.

●      Delete certain personal information we have about you.

●      Provide you with information about certain financial incentives that we offer to you, if any.

We reserve the right to verify your identity before responding to a request, which may include, depending on the sensitivity of the information you are requesting and the type of request you are making, verifying your name, email address, phone number, or other information. You are also permitted to designate an authorized agent to submit certain requests on your behalf. In order for an authorized agent to be verified, you must provide the authorized agent with signed, written permission to make such requests or a power of attorney. We may also follow up with you to verify your identity before processing the authorized agent’s request.

Please note that certain information may be exempt from such requests under California law. For example, we need certain information in order to provide the Services to you or to comply with legal obligations, so we would need to either reject your request to delete the information or, if we are legally permitted to delete it, we would need to terminate our provision of Services to you after deleting it.

Opting out of the “Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Information. Under the CCPA, “sharing” is defined as the targeting of advertising to a consumer based on that consumer’s personal information obtained from the consumer’s activity across websites, and “selling” is defined as the disclosure of personal information to third parties in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration. While we do not disclose your personal information to third parties in exchange for money, our disclosure of personal information to advertising and marketing services (as further explained in “Disclosure of Information” above) involves sharing of online identifiers (e.g., cookie data, IP addresses, device identifiers, and usage information) in a way that may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA.

We do not knowingly sell the personal information of minors under 16 years of age. For the avoidance of doubt, YipitData does not process sensitive personal information for any purpose other than to provide the Services or as required by applicable law.

You also have certain rights under the CCPA not to be subject to certain negative consequences for exercising CCPA rights in addition to the rights regarding the “sale” of personal information identified above.

 

Other Choices and Preferences

Do Not Track

Our services do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

However, some third party websites do keep track of your browsing activities. If you are visiting such websites, you can set your preferences in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable DNT by visiting the preferences or settings page of your web browser.

 

California Shine the Law

The California “Shine the Light” law gives residents of California the right under certain circumstances to opt out of the sharing of certain categories of personal information (as defined in the Shine the Light law) with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes within the meaning of that law.

Privacy Rights for Nevada Residents

Under Nevada law, certain Nevada residents may opt out of the “sale” of “covered information” (as such term is defined under Nevada law) for monetary consideration to a person for that person to license or sell such information to additional persons. Data Storage and Cross-border Data Transfer

Generally, we will store your personal information in China. However, our provision of Services and daily operation are supported by facilities and infrastructure across the globe, we may transfer your personal information outside of China.
